Where your gift goes
Gifts go to our operational fund, like every donation we receive. It's the money that keeps our vehicles and boats running, our dive equipment serviced, our team paid and our research going, which is how a gift turns into research dives, cleanups and summer camp places.
In 2025 we invested around ₱60 million in conservation, research and community programmes. Of that, 95% went to field operations, staff, long-term equipment and facilities, and community work.

Questions about gift donations
Will the person I'm gifting hear from you?
No. The card is yours to give: print it, hand it over, or send the image by email or message. We don't contact them and we never ask for their email address.
When is the card ready?
Straight away. When you click donate, PayPal opens in a new tab and the download and print buttons appear under the form. If you come back to this page later on the same device, your card will still be here.
Does my gift pay for exactly what's on the card?
Gifts go to our operational fund, like every donation. That fund pays for the dives, cleanups and camps, so the card shows what your amount covers in the field rather than a separate pot of money.
Can I give a gift in memory of someone?
Yes. Choose "In memory" as the occasion and the card's wording changes to match. Many people give a card like this to the family.
Can I pay without PayPal?
Yes. You can pay with Wise using the link under the donate button, or write to team@mcp.email and we'll send you our bank details for a direct transfer. Your card works the same way whichever you choose.
Will I get a receipt?
PayPal and Wise both email you a receipt. If you have any questions about your donation, write to us at team@mcp.email.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
It depends on where you pay tax, and we can't advise on the rules in every country. Most countries only give tax relief on donations to charities registered there. MCP is registered in the Philippines, so for most donors abroad a gift to us won't be deductible. Please check with your local tax authority or adviser before claiming anything. PayPal and Wise both email you a receipt, and we're happy to confirm your donation in writing if you need it.
If you pay tax in the Philippines, we have applied for the accreditation that makes donations deductible there, and we'll update this page once it's approved.
