SUPPORT MCP

With the help of volunteers and donors we achieve real results and make a difference. Donations empower us to continue our fight for sustainability and healthier seas; to remove plastics from the sea; to plant mangroves and to build livelihoods for the poorest of the poor, the marginalized fisherfolk of the Philippines.

We collect donations through PayPal, as it is secure and reliable.

If you prefer to, you can donate via Wise instead of PayPal.  We can also send you our bank details to make a direct transfer. To do so, please get in touch with us at team@mcp.email.

Donations go to our operational fund. It helps us fuel vehicles, maintain equipment, pay employees, conduct research, plant trees and safeguard coral reefs.

Your donation is tax-deductible as MCP is a lawfully registered non-profit with the Philippine SEC #CN201506332

Kids in school

Educate

Every year we run multiple Summer Camps for kids. We provide all materials, activities, food and accommodation. Additionally we have two full time school teachers, who teach about environmental matters in local schools. 15 USD can buy meals and full participation for one child in a Summer Camp.

Plant

At different times of the year we are able to plant mangrove trees in reclaimed fishing ponds, or where local forests in the past were clear cut. With maintaining nurseries, salaries, transport etc, each planted tree costs $1.80

Combating ocean plastics in the Philippines

Clean

We have a team of sixteen former fishermen who clean rivers and beaches full time as a job. Collectively they remove approximately 115 tonnes a year.  (We are able to recycle about 40% of the garbage) Each dollar you donate will remove approximately 150 pieces of plastic garbage.

Volunteer conducting scientific scuba diving

Research

Our scientists conduct research and monitoring that ensure coral reefs stay productive and provide food for the local communities.  50.000 people depend on this. 10 USD can provide tanks and logistics for one research dive.
