Two free lessons for ages 8 to 11
Two lessons that take children to the edge of the sea. The first covers tides, shore types, the animals they might meet and how to stay safe, and the second is a shore walk with bingo, quadrat counts and close-up drawing. There is also an indoor option for schools far from the sea.

Lesson 1: Getting ready to explore
Tides, shore habitats, the animals and plants to look for, the dangerous few, and the explorer's code.

Lesson 2: The shore walk
A safe, organised shore walk with three tasks, and a classroom follow-up. Includes a no-shore alternative.

- 60 to 90 minutes on the shore, plus 30 minutes back in class

- Record sheets, pencils and clipboards, 1 m string squares, a first aid kit, water

Bring your students to the reef
We host school groups at our base in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental, for diving or snorkelling, beach clean-ups and tree planting alongside our conservation team. Every visit follows our child protection policy.
